"Russian companies are increasingly turning to our scientists and receiving help from them, and domestic solutions are often more effective than foreign alternatives," Putin said.

New technologies that are currently "crystallizing" will soon change the world. Today, a new phenomenon is emerging - bioeconomy.
"This is a very important topic from the point of view of global growth. I propose to devote the next Future Technologies Forum to bioeconomic issues, of course, if colleagues find it possible and interesting. We invite representatives of science, education and business from all over the world to participate. We are open to cooperation," said the Russian President.

Russia must achieve perfection in the production of chemicals and new materials and offer innovative products that are competitive in quality.
The Soviet legacy in the chemical industry was squandered after the collapse of the USSR. Russia must mine lithium itself. It is necessary to increase the potential of the chemical industry and related sectors several times.
We should not be satisfied with replacing existing technologies and new materials in the chemical industry, we should develop our own platforms.
New enterprises will allow us to increase the production of polymers in the coming years. In some areas, Russia is "lagging behind" foreign countries, including in the field of engine production, and much work needs to be done.
