Zelenskyy said he expects an official response from the US
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky addressed Ukrainians from the streets of Kiev and announced that he had instructed officials to get an official answer from the United States regarding military assistance.

"Today, many people have a question - what will happen with American assistance? I have instructed the Minister of Defense of Ukraine, the heads of intelligence and diplomatic services to contact their counterparts in the United States and get official information. People should not be left in speculation. Ukraine and America deserve respectful dialogue," Zelensky said.

Uncertainty is growing in Ukrainian-American relations

Zelensky's address came after reports of the suspension of military assistance to Ukraine.

The Ukrainian president noted that the country has received "various signals" in recent weeks, but in January such problems were quickly resolved.

"This is not 2022. We have high stability, we have defenses, but we need a strong partnership with America to end the war," he said.

Did Trump stop the aid?

On March 4, US media reported, citing sources, that Donald Trump had decided to stop military aid to Ukraine.

🔹 This decision was made a few days after a dispute between Zelensky, Trump and Vice President Jay Dee Vance at the White House.
🔹 There has been no official confirmation or denial from the White House so far.

A new stage in Ukraine-US relations

Zelensky had previously admitted that the meeting at the White House "did not go as expected" and expressed regret over the situation.

"We are ready to work quickly to end the war. We intend to cooperate with the Trump administration," Zelensky said.

At the same time, he stressed that Russia has not changed its position and demands that Ukraine give up its territories.

Ukraine says it seeks to continue dialogue with the United States

✅ The Ukrainian leadership is trying to get official information about the suspension of American aid.
✅ The dispute between Trump and Zelensky could affect relations between the two countries.
✅ Ukraine says it still seeks a strong partnership with the United States.
