Serdar Berdimuhamedov pardons 321 prisoners on the occasion of Ramadan
Turkmenistan President Serdar Berdimuhamedow has signed a decree to pardon 321 prisoners. The decision was made on the occasion of the Laylat al-Qadr in the holy month of Ramadan, local media reported.

The activities of the Pardon Commission were reviewed

The President adopted this decision during a meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers. A report on the activities of the Pardon Commission was presented at the meeting.

Secretary of the Security Council and Chairman of the Commission B. Gundogdiev presented a report to the President and informed about the work carried out on the occasion of the Laylat al-Qadr.

The decree was officially approved

President Serdar Berdimuhamedov, after listening to the report, signed a decree on pardoning 321 convicts in accordance with tradition. He also instructed the relevant authorities to release the pardoned persons from prison and return them to their families as soon as possible.

Pardon is an expression of religious and humanistic values

The decision was made based not only on the religious month of Ramadan, but also on the principles of humanity. It is said that there are prisoners of various categories among the pardoned.

About previous pardons
