North Korea sends 3,000 more troops to Russia: Pyongyang's involvement in the war in Ukraine is increasing

According to South Korean sources, North Korea has sent 3,000 military personnel to Russia since the beginning of 2024. These soldiers are being recruited by Moscow to strengthen the troops fighting on the front in Ukraine. This was officially announced by the South Korean Joint Chiefs of Staff on March 27.

North Korea continues to provide military support to Russia

According to South Korean and Western sources, Pyongyang is not only sending troops, but also increasing the supply of weapons to Russia. In particular, it was noted that “a large number of short-range ballistic missiles”, artillery shells and several missile systems were delivered to Russia.

According to a statement by Seoul officials, 4 thousand of the 11 thousand North Korean soldiers initially sent to Russia were killed or wounded on the front line. Western intelligence: Russia deploys troops in the Kursk region
