Trump unveils design of the “Golden Card”

President Donald Trump has revealed the design of the “Golden Card” that grants the right to live in the United States, he said during a conversation with journalists aboard Air Force One.

“Do you know what this is?” he asked, showing the card. Then he answered: “This is the Golden Card — Trump’s card. It can be yours for five million dollars.”

The card is slightly larger than a bank card and features Trump’s portrait in front of the Statue of Liberty. On the right side, it reads “The Trump Card” and bears the president’s signature.

According to Trump, the card will go on sale within two weeks.

Trump announced the “Golden Card” program at the end of February. It is intended to replace the EB-5 program, which offers green cards to foreigners investing at least $1 million. The new card grants permanent residency in the U.S. and opens a path to citizenship for $5 million (approximately 615 billion Uzbek soums at current rates).

Trump added that the funds raised from card sales could help cover the U.S. budget deficit. Applicants for the new visa will be subject to a screening process, though no details have been provided yet. Follow “Zamin” news on “Telegram”
