Trump: "The first 100 days of my second term are the most successful in American history"

US President Donald Trump called the first 100 days of his second presidential term "the most productive days of any administration in the history of the country." He made the remarks while addressing supporters in Warren, Michigan.

The president focused his speech on the US auto industry and economic policy. Trump said that his tax and customs policies are expected to lead to a new era for the country's auto industry.

Earlier, it was reported that the head of state had signed a decree providing for special tax breaks for automakers. According to AFP, these incentives will encourage companies from all over the world to build factories in America and produce cars there. Under this program, car companies that manufacture in the United States will be able to use reduced tariffs on imported parts for two years.

Also, automakers will only pay one of a 25 percent tariff on cars assembled abroad or a 25 percent tariff on imported steel and aluminum.

During the meeting in Warren, Trump once again emphasized that his administration is preparing to introduce “the largest tax breaks in American history” in the coming weeks and months. According to him, this will lead America to a “golden age” - a period in which consumer prices in the country will be low, wages will be high, and “the strongest economy in the history of the world” will be formed.
