Polish Prime Minister Donald Tusk, in his televised address on May 1, emphasized that world politics is entering a difficult phase. According to him, in the current global situation, instead of stability and loyalty to clear values, uncertainty, ruthlessness and selfishness have again begun to take their place.
"We have entered very difficult times. Unfortunately, today, doubt, indecision and changeability again dominate international politics. Humanism and loyalty to values are increasingly being replaced by personal interests and the pursuit of material gain," Tusk said.
The Polish leader noted that he was watching the situation with concern, but stressed that such changes must be fought. He stressed that in today's world there is a great responsibility in fighting for and protecting values.
Donald Tusk also touched upon the country's economy in his speech, promising that the government would take all necessary measures to protect the interests of Polish entrepreneurs and local producers.
"We will try to create the most favorable conditions for our producers in the domestic market. We must also pay attention to economic nationalism in order to strengthen the national economy. There is nothing wrong with this concept, on the contrary, it is important for our economic development," the Polish Prime Minister added. Read 'Zamin' on Telegram!
