Rashida Tlaib: "The US is complicit in Israel's genocidal actions in Gaza"

Democratic US Congresswoman Rashida Tlaib has called Israel's military operations in the Gaza Strip "genocide" and accused the United States of complicity in the process. She believes that the US government has taken responsibility for the conflict by providing billions of dollars in military aid to Israel without conditions on human rights.

Tlaib said that the Israeli government aims to completely destroy Gaza, forcibly displace Palestinians, and annex the territory. She called these actions "ethnic cleansing" and "genocide."

"Israel has been blocking humanitarian aid from entering Gaza for 64 days. War criminal Benjamin Netanyahu has unveiled a plan that includes the forced expulsion of the entire Palestinian population, ethnic cleansing, the complete destruction of Gaza, and its annexation," she wrote.

He also called on the US administration to refrain from providing military assistance to countries that block humanitarian aid.

The Israeli government, in turn, approved a plan to expand military operations in Gaza to eliminate Hamas and establish stable control over the territory. This plan includes measures such as the complete occupation of Gaza, the relocation of civilians for security reasons, and control over humanitarian aid. These actions have been sharply criticized by the international community.

Tlaib's statement caused widespread discussion in the US political environment. His words have further increased international attention to the situation in Gaza.
