Germany has provided Ukraine with a wide range of military assistance: from missiles to robots

The German government has provided Ukraine with another comprehensive package of military assistance. The assistance includes modern missiles for air defense systems, artillery ammunition, high-tech drones, engineering vehicles, armored vehicles and other important equipment.

This military assistance mainly includes missiles for modern IRIS-T SLM anti-aircraft missile systems. In addition, ammunition for modern Leopard 2 battle tanks, 27 thousand 155 mm artillery shells and 1 thousand 122 mm artillery ammunition were also delivered.

In addition, Germany supplied 70 Vector drones capable of performing high-level reconnaissance work, 150 armed HF-1 combat drones and 20 modern robotic platforms.

As for armored vehicles, six Bergepanzer 2 recovery vehicles and four WISENT 1 special engineering vehicles for effective mine clearance were delivered, along with spare parts.

Also delivered were two engineering plows for clearing underground mines, 41 modern radar stations for monitoring the surface, laser rangefinders, infrared binoculars, special vehicles for border guards, and diving scooters for underwater operations.

In addition, modern RGW 90 anti-tank grenade launchers and high-quality G3 and MK 556 rifles were delivered for the needs of the Ukrainian army.

The German government announced plans to significantly expand military assistance to Ukraine this year. Therefore, the next batch of new air defense systems, modern tanks, and high-power howitzers is expected to be delivered in the near future.

It is worth recalling that in March, Germany began sending Ukraine three new Gepard anti-aircraft systems and additional batches of missiles for the IRIS-T systems. According to the law signed by German President Frank-Walter Steinmeier, military aid in the amount of 3 billion euros was allocated for Ukraine.

The new German Chancellor Friedrich Merz also expressed his firm support for the supply of modern Taurus cruise missiles to Ukraine. However, he emphasized that this decision will be implemented only in consultation with European allies.

Thus, this large-scale military assistance provided by Germany will significantly strengthen Ukraine's defense capabilities and play an important role in further strengthening the country's defense capabilities. Read 'Zamin' on Telegram!
