The Ukrainian army launched a missile strike on the Kursk region of Russia: there are victims, the situation is serious

On Sunday, May 11, the Ukrainian Armed Forces launched a missile strike on the city of Rylsk, located in the Kursk region of the Russian Federation. This was reported by the acting governor of the Kursk region, Alexander Khinshtein, on his Telegram channel.

According to preliminary information, three people were injured in the attack. They were urgently taken to a local hospital. According to Khinshtein, two men suffered serious injuries to the head and hands, and their condition is assessed as very serious. It is planned to transfer these patients to the central hospital in the Kursk region in the near future for highly qualified assistance.

At the same time, another woman was also injured in the missile strike. Her wrist and thigh were injured, and doctors said that this patient's life is not in danger and her condition is assessed as relatively stable.

According to information, a hotel building located at the entrance to the city was also seriously damaged as a result of the missile strike. There was a car wash on the first floor of the building, and hotel rooms on the second floor. The hotel buildings were significantly damaged by the explosion.

Two private residential buildings and five cars were also damaged as a result of the attack. It was noted that three of the cars were almost unusable. Rescue and restoration work is currently underway in the city.

It was also noted that the regional leadership has taken additional measures to ensure the safety of the population and that the situation is fully under control.

At the same time, the Russian government is investigating this incident and all circumstances related to the attack are being clarified. Security measures in the region continue to be tightened.
