Zelensky revealed the secrets of the historic Operation Web!

In his speech on Sunday evening, June 1, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky provided detailed information for the first time about the large-scale and unique operation "Pautina" recently carried out against a number of military airfields of the Russian Federation. The head of state expressed special gratitude to all security service personnel who participated in this mission, and personally to General Vasyl Malyuk, and highly appreciated their courage and professionalism in carrying out the operation.

According to President Zelensky, this operation was planned so thoroughly and carried out with such precision that it will go down in history. He noted that more than a year and a half was spent on preparing, organizing and carrying out this operation. This is the result of the high professionalism, endurance and patience shown by the Ukrainian security service personnel.

One of the most interesting aspects of Operation "Pautina" is that during its preparatory stage, special "operational offices" were created in the territory of the Russian Federation. President Zelensky revealed that one of these offices was located near the buildings of the Federal Security Service (FSB) of Russia. However, on the eve of the operation, it was reported that the employees of this office were safely evacuated from Russian territory. The Ukrainian president noted that this ensured a high level of security for the participants in the operation.

A total of 117 unmanned aerial vehicles (FPV drones) and the same number of operators were involved in this large-scale operation. According to it, 34 percent of cruise missile aircraft located at the most important military airfields of the Russian strategic aviation were damaged during Operation Pautina. According to the data provided by Kiev, the total value of the damaged military aviation equipment is approximately 7 billion US dollars.

Zelensky emphasized that this operation sent a serious signal to Russia. “We will use all our opportunities to demonstrate our defensive capabilities until the Russian Federation understands the need to end this war,” Zelensky said. The Russian side was also forced to recognize this operation and partially confirmed that the attack caused serious damage. A statement issued by the Russian Defense Ministry confirmed that Ukraine had indeed launched drone attacks on military airfields in the Murmansk, Irkutsk, Ryazan and Ivanovo regions of the Russian Federation.
