Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan once again made a harsh statement against Israel’s recent military actions. According to him, the Tel Aviv regime, by carrying out attacks against Iran, may be trying to divert the attention of the international community from the genocide being carried out in Gaza.
The Turkish leader expressed this during a phone conversation with the Emir of Kuwait, Mishal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah. During the conversation, the sides discussed the escalation between Israel and Iran, security problems in the region, as well as pressing areas of international cooperation.
Erdoğan emphasized that the actions of Tel Aviv threaten not only relations with Iran, but also the security of the entire region. According to him, Israel’s aggressive policy could lead to another major war, and such a situation is absolutely unacceptable.
Erdoğan also noted that the government of Israel, led by Benjamin Netanyahu, has become a serious threat to global stability and peace. In his opinion, Israel’s attacks on Iran also negatively affect negotiations regarding the nuclear program.
“We are in favor of resolving disagreements through negotiations. Military actions do not solve any problems, but only make them worse,” Erdoğan said.
The Turkish leader also reminded that, together with Kuwait, they strongly condemn Israel’s aggressive actions in Gaza and the genocide that violates human rights.
This statement by Erdoğan once again demonstrated not only Turkey’s active position in the Middle East, but also its firm commitment to ensuring global justice and peace.
Against the backdrop of the situation in the region continuing to deteriorate, it is becoming more and more obvious that the international community must listen to such opinions and take urgent diplomatic measures. Read 'Zamin' on Telegram!
