Drone strikes continue: Kharkiv, Odessa, and Sumy are targeted again.
Tensions between Russia and Ukraine are escalating again. On the night of June 20, Russian troops launched another aerial attack on several regions of Ukraine. Specifically, strikes were carried out on Kharkiv, Odessa, and Sumy with attack drones.

Alarm in Kharkiv in the middle of the night
According to Kharkiv city mayor Igor Terekhov, at around 2:00 a.m., the city was attacked for the second time. He stated that five explosions were recorded in four districts. As a result of these attacks, at least three people were injured, including children. It was also reported that around 50 cars on the premises of apartment buildings were damaged.

Even teenagers were harmed
According to Oleg Sinegubov, head of the Kharkiv Regional Military Administration, among the injured were 12- and 17-year-old girls. “According to updated information, the enemy launched 8 drone strikes on the Shevchenko district of Kharkiv,” he added.

High-rise building fire in Odessa
Odessa OMA head Oleg Kiper said, “Odessa was again hit by attack drones. In the central part of the city, one of the high-rise buildings caught fire due to a drone strike.” According to him, two people were injured. Additionally, civilian infrastructure, residential buildings, a university building, a gas pipeline, and private vehicles were damaged.

No peace in Sumy either
According to the newly appointed head of the Sumy OMA, Oleg Grigoriev, drones struck buildings in the Kovpakov district. “One of the residential buildings caught fire as a result of the strike. Fortunately, no one was harmed. The fire was completely extinguished,” his Telegram message states.

Kremlin’s official position remains unchanged
Russia continues to claim that strikes are carried out only on military targets. But reality tells a different story — the lives of Ukrainian civilians are at risk every day.

Explosions nearly every day
Almost three and a half years have passed since Russia's aggressive war against Ukraine began, and attacks on cities continue. Over this time, attacks by rockets or drones on Ukrainian cities occur nearly every day. Normal peaceful life has vanished completely.

International community is silent
While the global community responds to the situation, no decisive measures have been taken so far. This further threatens the safety of civilians.

Conclusion: when will peace return to Ukrainian skies?
Explosions reverberating daily, burned homes, the fate of helpless children... Military operations in Ukraine once again show that peace is the highest value. Its absence destroys not only buildings but hope as well.
