The Middle East, burning in the fire of anger and struggle, is once again under serious tension. Israeli military forces carried out a large-scale operation in several regions of Palestine. In particular, raids were conducted with the participation of hundreds of soldiers in the cities of Arura and Abwein, as well as on Nubani farms near Ramallah.
According to information released by the Palestinian Information Center, during the operation, Israeli troops occupied various buildings, searched residential homes, and detained many civilians. In some cases, homeowners were forcibly evicted, and their homes were temporarily turned into military bases.
Local activists confirmed that checkpoints were set up at the entrances to cities, traffic was restricted, and military forces are currently highly active.
According to analysts, these actions are being carried out against the background of the Israel-Iran escalation. Reportedly, after the start of the military operation against Iran called "Rebellious Lion," the Israeli army seized homes in Hebron, Jenin, Ramallah, and Qalqilya, removed peaceful residents, and stationed its soldiers there.
In response, Palestinian activists accuse Israel of using civilians as "human shields." They emphasize that this is considered contrary to international law. In a statement by the Youth Against Settlements group, it is said, “Army security is being placed above the lives of Palestinian children.”
This situation appears contradictory compared to Israel’s accusations against HAMAS. Although Israeli leadership evaluates these actions as providing security, activists and human rights organizations in Palestine regard it as deliberately putting the population in danger.
The exchange of strikes between Israel and Iran has been intensifying in recent days. Both countries have reported deaths and injuries as a result of these attacks. These acts of war pose a serious threat not only to the peaceful population of the region, but also to the overall geopolitical stability of the Middle East. Read 'Zamin' on Telegram!
