Iranian missile destroyed Microsoft office, fire and casualties reported

An incident occurred in the city of Be’er Sheva, located in southern Israel — a ballistic missile launched by Iran struck a building housing one of Microsoft’s offices. This was reported by Iran’s state news agency IRNA.

According to representatives of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC), the strike completely destroyed the building, after which a strong fire broke out. "Microsoft Corporation was destroyed in Be’er Sheva with just one missile. There are consequences for supporting the regime!" — the official statement said.

This attack was carried out on the morning of June 20 as one of a series of ballistic missile and kamikaze drone strikes by Iran on Israel. One of them landed in the Gav-Yam Negev technology park area in Be’er Sheva. According to Israeli media, 18 people were injured in the attack, and several buildings were damaged. The city of Be’er Sheva is of strategic importance; the Nevatim military airbase is also located there.

At the same time, Israel carried out a retaliatory strike. On the night of June 20, the Israeli Air Force launched airstrikes on Tehran and a number of surrounding areas. The strikes targeted nuclear research centers, missile and missile engine production facilities, as well as Iran’s SPND scientific center.

According to Defense Forces, more than 60 military aircraft participated in the attack, dropping more than 120 munitions. In its statement, Israel said that the main goal of the attacks was to weaken Iran’s military-industrial infrastructure.
