An unusual restaurant has opened in Costa Rica’s famous Monteverde forest. Called “San Lucas Treetop Dining,” the venue offers guests the chance to dine in transparent cabins built among the trees – at treetop level.
Each cabin resembles a small airplane. Guests are welcomed as if going on a journey: they receive a “passport” and a “suitcase.” The seven dishes on the menu are dedicated to the seven provinces of Costa Rica. Each one reflects the country’s culture through taste, ingredients, and presentation.
This unique experience is becoming especially popular on social media. Many travelers call it “the most unforgettable dinner of their lives.”
Located across three “terminals” in the forest, the restaurant attracts tourists with its exceptional atmosphere. Light-filled cabins, fresh air, and birdsong make the experience even more memorable.
This place offers not only a meal but also a rare opportunity to feel Costa Rica’s nature, culture, and hospitality.
