On August 14, the first group of pilgrims of the “Umrah – 2025/2026” season departed from Tashkent International Airport on an “Uzbekistan Airways” flight to Jeddah. According to the press service of the Muslim Board of Uzbekistan, 240 compatriots set out on this journey to perform the sacred pilgrimage.
According to the program, the pilgrims will first stay for 3 days in the city of Medina. During this time, they will visit the Prophet’s Mosque (peace be upon him) and other blessed sites in the city’s surroundings. Afterwards, they will proceed to the city of Mecca, where they will perform the rites of Umrah for 7 days.Organizers have ensured all the conditions for the convenience and peace of mind of the pilgrims. In Medina, guests will be accommodated at the “Grand Shahba” hotel, and in Mecca — at the modern and comfortable “Al-Ayyam Elite” and “Marmara Hotel”. Pilgrims will be served three hot meals a day, along with various sweets and fresh fruits.
Throughout the Umrah trip, the group will be accompanied by experienced staff, well-known imams, and qualified doctors whose task is to ensure the spiritual and physical well-being of the pilgrims during the journey.In addition to the main pilgrimage, the program includes a trip to the Red Sea coast in Jeddah, giving participants both spiritual and cultural experiences.
Organizers note that this trip is one of the largest organized groups at the start of the Umrah season and is expected to be an unforgettable memory for all participants.
