Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky arrived in the US for a meeting with Donald Trump wearing a black suit tailored by designer Viktor Anisimov. Unlike his usual military attire, this outfit was chosen as a symbol of peace.
Trump praised Zelensky’s appearance. This is a sharp contrast to their previous meeting. Back in February, he criticized Zelensky’s military-style clothing.
Designer Anisimov made small adjustments to give the president a more official and civilian look. According to him, these details could bring luck to Ukraine.
Since the beginning of the war, Zelensky has always worn military outfits to show solidarity with soldiers. However, for the US meeting, he opted for a different look.
The suit is part of a specially tailored collection for Zelensky. The president also intends to wear it at European summits and important events, presenting a new diplomatic image.
