Israel is deploying 60 thousand people for the Gaza operation

The Israel Defense Forces have called up 60,000 reservists as part of preparations for the "Gideon Wheels—2" operation to be held in Gaza City, Kursiv reported.

Additionally, another 20,000 reservists have extended their service. The operation was approved by Israel's Defense Minister Israel Katz.

According to the plan, the operation aims to fully capture Gaza, eliminate the HAMAS organization, and establish a new governance infrastructure in the enclave.

During nearly two years of military actions, more than 60,000 Palestinians have died in the enclave, including 18,500 children.
