An unusual incident in Almaty, Kazakhstan, has sparked wide discussions on social media. According to reports, a local blogger, seeking fame and to increase his number of followers, attempted an unbelievable stunt — he had himself buried alive in a grave while livestreaming. This was reported by “Nur.kz”.
Residents of the city and online users said that the blogger first dug a pit together with his friends. Then he placed a coffin inside, lay down in it, and, with his consent, his friends lowered him into the grave and closed the coffin. This scene was broadcast live and quickly spread to a wide audience.
Many people strongly condemned the act, saying: “The pursuit of fame should not come at the cost of human life.” Comments on social media included: “Going live while putting your life at risk is insane. The police must take action against such behavior.”
Almaty city police also responded. In an official statement, they said that an investigation had been launched and appropriate measures would be taken in accordance with the law.
Experts warned that such cases represent a dangerous trend for society. Extreme acts performed in the pursuit of fame and public attention may negatively influence young people and even encourage them to engage in hazardous “challenges.”
According to public opinion, this case is not only about one blogger but also serves as a serious signal of growing irresponsibility in the media space.
