Trump called on foreign companies to hire American workers.

US President Donald Trump called on foreign companies to comply with the country's immigration laws and create jobs for the American population after the ICE raid in Georgia.

Trump commented on the large-scale raids conducted by the Immigration and Customs Administration (ICE) at the Hyundai-LG plant in Georgia, calling on foreign investors to hire and train workers through "legal means" to operate in the US.

In his statement on the Truth Social platform, the president emphasized the advisability of investing in the United States, but also reminded that immigration laws must be strictly observed in this process. "We demand that all foreign companies respect the legal requirements of the USA. In return, we expect you to hire American workers and provide them with the necessary knowledge and skills," Trump said.

The incident was carried out on September 5 by ICE divisions at an electric car battery manufacturing plant in Georgia. According to media reports, about 450 people were detained during this raid, of which more than 300 were South Korean citizens.

Seoul officials expressed "concern and regret" over the actions of the US. Lee Jae-woon, spokesperson for the South Korean Ministry of Foreign Affairs, emphasized that the activities of companies investing in the US and the rights of citizens should not be violated.

At the same time, the South Korean presidential administration announced that negotiations on the return of prisoners had been completed, and after the completion of the necessary official procedures, a special aircraft was sent to the USA for their removal.
