Children dying of hunger in Afghanistan

In Afghanistan, many children are dying of hunger. In Herat, three children from one family died within two years.

According to the UN, more than three million children are at risk of malnutrition. International aid has decreased, leaving many families hungry.

Drought, sanctions and restrictions on women have worsened the situation. The return of migrants has also increased the problem.

More hungry children are being seen in hospitals. Experts say deaths will rise as winter approaches.
