Trump to speak on Palestine issue
France has officially recognized the State of Palestine. President Emmanuel Macron, speaking at the UN General Assembly, said there was no justification for continuing the war in Gaza. He stressed the need for peace and a two-state solution.

US President Donald Trump is also expected to deliver a speech at the Assembly. Meanwhile, Belgium, Luxembourg and several other European countries are on the verge of recognizing Palestine.

According to Macron, the priority is to end the war, free the hostages, and preserve the possibility for Israel and Palestine to live side by side in peace. Saudi Arabia also supported the two-state solution as the only sustainable path.

Israel sharply criticized the recognition of Palestine, calling it “a reward for Hamas.” At the same time, the European Union announced the launch of a new financial aid mechanism to help rebuild Gaza.
