North Korean leader Kim Jong Un inspected the construction site of the Pyongyang General Hospital. He was deeply dissatisfied with the situation and sharply criticized the officials responsible for the project, the Korean Central News Agency reported.
It is reported that the construction of the hospital has been delayed for a year and a half. Kim Jong Un stated that the heads of the Cabinet of Ministers and high-ranking officials in the construction headquarters allowed disorder in administrative affairs due to ambition and mismanagement.
He also accused officials of neglecting state financial discipline. They began construction work without budget approval, causing significant losses and delays in the project implementation.
Kim Jong Un also condemned officials for indiscipline and political immaturity. However, he praised the quality of the work performed and expressed a positive attitude towards the hospital's architectural style and functionality.
