US President Donald Trump stated that until 6:00 PM on October 5th (3:00 AM Tashkent time on October 6th), he had given Hamas the last chance to accept the agreement proposed by the US. He believes that if this agreement is not reached, it will have serious consequences for Hamas. Trump wrote on Truth Social: "All countries have signed the agreement! If this last opportunity is not realized, HAMAS will face hell that no one has ever seen before."
Earlier, Trump announced a US peace initiative aimed at ending the Gaza war. The main content of this initiative includes steps such as an immediate ceasefire, the exchange of hostages for Palestinian prisoners, the gradual withdrawal of Israeli troops from Gaza, the disarmament of Hamas, and the creation of an international committee under Trump's control. Trump stated that if Hamas does not accept this plan, full US support will be provided for the Israeli-led military operations.
Turkey, Qatar, Jordan, the UAE, Indonesia, Pakistan, Saudi Arabia, and Egypt have also issued a joint statement regarding Trump's plan. Along with the plan presented by the US President aimed at ending the Gaza war and restoring the region, steps aimed at preventing the forced displacement of Palestinians were supported.
The Palestinian Authority also welcomed Trump's peace initiative and expressed its readiness to work towards a full agreement with the US and its partners. The implementation of the initiative is crucial for achieving peace not only in Gaza but throughout the entire region.
Many countries have decided to act together to support Trump's new initiative aimed at ending the Gaza war and hint at opening new paths in solving international problems.
