U.S. President Donald Trump is gradually distancing himself from the war in Ukraine while also cooling relations with the European Union. This was stated by former Deputy Chairman of the U.S. National Intelligence Council Graham Fuller, according to TASS.
According to the expert, Trump has effectively taken the position that this is Europe’s war, while the United States merely sells weapons. “They know it well. America has left them on their own,” Fuller said.
He added that when the president said, “This is your seed, children, good luck,” he was referring specifically to Europeans. Because of this, the analyst noted, a sense of despair has grown among leading European officials.
Furthermore, Fuller believes that modern Europe has become one of the most dangerous centers in the world, as it often acts as a force provoking military conflicts. This especially applies to the United Kingdom, which, he said, has not yet overcome its imperialist past and continues to harbor Russophobia.
