As winter approaches, Ukraine's energy system has faced another heavy blow. Russian troops launched another attack on a coal processing plant belonging to DTEK Energo, the company's press service reported.
As a result of the attack, a fire broke out at the enterprise, some buildings were destroyed, and technological equipment was seriously damaged. No casualties were recorded, as the staff entered the shelter in a timely manner.
According to reports, this is the third major attack on the plant in the last six weeks. Previously, such strikes were carried out on August 26 and September 8.
According to the company, the plant, which supplied coal to Ukrainian thermal power plants, had to be temporarily suspended due to the approach of the front line and a threat to the safety of its employees.
