Uzbekistanis increased travel to Saudi Arabia by 48.1%

According to Kursiv Uzbekistan, in January–August 2025, 165,700 citizens of Uzbekistan traveled to Saudi Arabia. This figure is 48.1 percent higher compared to the previous year.

According to Natskomstat data, 141,600 people traveled for tourism purposes,
23,500 people to visit relatives,
548 people for medical treatment,
in addition, 62 citizens for work, and 18 for study purposes.

It should be noted that in July of this year, 15,000 Uzbeks arrived in Saudi Arabia for the Hajj pilgrimage. Special flights were organized from nine cities for them, with flights operated by domestic and international airlines.
