Former U.S. President Joe Biden has entered a new stage of treatment following his prostate cancer diagnosis. According to NBC News, the 82-year-old Biden is currently undergoing radiation and hormonal therapy.
The former president’s spokesperson stated that the treatment process is being carried out as part of a specially designed comprehensive plan for Biden. Sources said the radiation therapy course is expected to last about five weeks and marks a new and significant phase in Biden’s fight against the disease.
It should be noted that in May 2025, Biden’s representatives announced that he had been diagnosed with prostate cancer with bone metastases.
“Although this form of cancer is considered relatively aggressive, it has proven to be hormone-sensitive. This allows for the application of effective treatment methods against the disease,” the statement from Biden’s press service said.
Experts emphasize that this treatment process plays an important role in controlling the tumor and preventing its spread.
