Ceasefire holds: Aid delivered to Gaza

On Wednesday, aid trucks entered Gaza. Hamas handed over the bodies of two hostages to Israel.

The event was an important step in maintaining the ceasefire. Earlier, Israel had said it would reduce aid if Hamas delayed handing over the bodies.

Later, after Hamas returned several bodies, Israel began preparing to reopen the Rafah crossing. U.S. President Donald Trump said he would allow Israel to resume fighting if Hamas did not disarm.

After the war, the situation in Gaza remains dire. Most of the population is homeless, and there is a shortage of food and medicine.
