A woman wearing headphones was rescued seconds before being hit by a tram (video)

On Thursday morning, a heartbreaking incident occurred in the Turkish city of Kayseri. A security guard at the Republic Square stop rescued a female passenger wearing headphones from being hit by a tram in the last seconds.

The incident was captured by surveillance cameras of the city transport department. In the footage, it is clearly visible that the security guard was checking the safety lines for the next flight, and at that moment he noticed a woman approaching the rails.

The woman didn't hear the warnings because she was wearing headphones. The video shows the tram entering the station within seconds, and the security guard, moving at lightning speed, grabs the passenger by the hand and pulls him back.

After the rescue, the woman shockedly thanked the security guard and shook his hand. Users who saw this scene praised the employee's bravery on social media, calling him a "true hero."

The transport department of the Kayseri city administration commented on the incident:

"A moment of distraction could have turned into a serious tragedy. This morning, a passenger, who didn't notice what was happening around him because of his headphones, went onto the tram tracks. Fortunately, our security officer acted vigilantly and saved him safe and sound."

Through this situation, specialists once again reminded about the need to be careful when using headphones in public places, especially at transport stops.

The caesarian guard is now in the spotlight not only of the local but of the entire Turkish public - his vigilance saved one life.
