Several banks in Central Asia are subject to European sanctions

Today, the European Commission officially approved the 19th package of sanctions imposed against Russia. A number of banks from Central Asia and neighboring countries were also included in this list.

According to reports, VTB-Kazakhstan Bank, as well as Tolubay Bank, Eurasian Savings Bank (Kyrgyzstan), Dushanbe City Bank, Spitamen Bank, and Tajikistan Commercial Bank have been added to the European Union's "blacklist."
