Pushkin Institute named the longest word in the Russian language, consisting of 55 letters

The A.S. Pushkin Institute, using artificial intelligence, identified the longest word in Russian - the adjective "tetrahydropyranylcyclopentyltetrahydropyridopyridine". RIA Novosti reported this, citing Pavel Katyshev, Head of the Department of General and Russian Linguistics at the institute.

This word appears in the name of the patent for an invention registered in 2006. "With the help of artificial intelligence, we found that the quality 'tetrahydropyranylcyclopentyltetrahydropyridopyridine' is claiming the status of the longest Russian word," the scientist said.
