The list of countries with the highest economic income in the world has been updated. According to a new ranking prepared by Visual Capitalist, today seven of the world's ten richest countries are located in Europe.

Experts emphasize that a common feature of these countries is their relatively small population, economic stability, and a comprehensive social security system. The rating is based on updated data from the International Monetary Fund for 2025, which shows the amount of gross domestic product (GDP) per capita in each country.

Liechtenstein took first place - GDP per capita in this country is 231,713 dollars. The main reason for financial success is that more than half of the population lives abroad and comes to work in Liechtenstein. This factor statistically shows a much higher average income in the country. A similar situation is observed in Luxembourg, which is in second place.

Ireland is in third place - GDP per capita here is $129,132. The country's favorable tax policy and the location of the headquarters of major international companies such as Google and Meta in Ireland have significantly contributed to this growth.

Next came Switzerland, Iceland, and Singapore. In these countries, high incomes are associated with the real standard of living and economic efficiency of the population. In particular, using Singapore as an example, it was noted that the average income of the country has increased 19 times over the past 40 years. The city-state is currently one of the world's largest financial and commercial centers.
