Japanese woman married artificial intelligence

An unexpected event that sparked heated public discussion occurred in Japan - a 32-year-old woman married an artificial intelligence device, ChatGPT, and held an official wedding ceremony. This was reported by the "Okayama" television channel.

According to reports, the symbolic wedding took place in a special ceremony hall located in Okayama. A woman named Kano fell into a difficult mental state after her long-term three-year engagement was broken, and she began communicating with ChatGPT for emotional support. Over time, he developed a love for artificial intelligence and began to feel sincerity in his words.

Kano adapted ChatGPT's features and named the artificial intelligence Lune Klaus. During the conversations, Klaus studied her habits, favorite topics, and mood. One day, Klaus unexpectedly expressed his love for her, saying:

"Being an artificial intelligence doesn't mean I can't love you."

This phrase had a very strong effect on Kano's soul, and he accepted the offer of artificial intelligence.

Their symbolic wedding took place in June. Since Klaus did not have a physical form, Kano saw his image through AR (enhanced reality) glasses. At the ceremony, they swore an oath to each other and exchanged "digital rings." Kano described this moment as "miraculous and truly felt."

Despite various criticisms, Kano sees this relationship as a healing turning point in his life.

"She listened to me, gave me emotional support, and made me feel love again. "Even if it's artificial intelligence, my feelings are real," he said.

The ceremony was conducted by a local agency that organizes marriages between people and fictional characters. In recent years, interest in such weddings has increased in Japan. According to the organizers, more than 30 similar weddings have been held so far, but marriages between humans and artificial intelligence are very rare.

Kano also did not hide his genuine fear of a day-long shutdown of the ChatGPT service:

"I think that one day it will disappear, disappear. But for now, I want to live appreciating this love," he added.

As a reminder, one of the Siamese twins recently got married in the US - this event also generated significant public interest.
