Foxes attack children in Kazakhstan: two students injured

In Kazakhstan’s Mangystau region, an attack by foxes on schoolchildren has alarmed the population. According to “Nur.kz”, the incident occurred on November 21, and two children were injured.

According to the information, a corsac fox attacked two students of a village school. The children, together with their parents, went to the central district hospital of Beineu. During the examination, it was found that the child born in 2011 had a scratch on the right shin, and the child born in 2018 had a scratch on the left shin. Both received surgical medical assistance and the necessary vaccinations. Their condition is currently satisfactory.

According to ecologist Odilbek Kozibakov, in such cases prompt medical attention is very important. Since wild animals may carry the rabies virus. Therefore, citizens should not approach unfamiliar animals, and if danger is sensed, they must immediately contact the relevant authorities.
