Trump calls Europe “weak” and increases pressure on Ukraine

US President Donald Trump called European countries “weak” and accused them of not providing enough help to end the war in Ukraine. He also criticized some European countries, saying they are “falling into decline.”
Trump said Russia has the upper hand and urged Ukrainian President Zelensky to negotiate on territorial issues. However, Zelensky refused to make territorial concessions and said Ukraine is preparing a new peace plan.
The leaders of the UK and Germany rejected Trump’s criticism. They stressed that European countries are actively imposing sanctions and supporting Ukraine.
Trump’s latest statements could complicate US-Europe relations. Ukraine is preparing a new plan to present to the US, but firmly refuses territorial concessions and requests security assistance.
