Famous escape artist escaped from prison 4 times

On December 7, 41-year-old Taulant Toma, the most famous "escape artist" of European prisons, escaped for the fourth time from the "Opera" prison in Milan. He cut the bars of his cell, descended through sheets tied together, and disappeared.

Toma first escaped from prison in 2009, and his most famous escape was in 2013 from the Parma prison, when he was searched for 40 days, then captured in Belgium, but soon escaped again.

The Italian government has started search operations, and border and patrol controls have been intensified. Investigations are underway to determine whether the criminal received help from outside.

It has also been acknowledged that "Opera" prison needs 811 staff, but currently only 533 are working there.
