Trump: negotiations with Iran are well-established

US President Donald Trump stated that negotiations with Iran are proceeding in a positive spirit against the backdrop of the tense international situation surrounding the country.
Speaking about this at a meeting dedicated to peace initiatives in Gaza in Washington, the President emphasized the activities of Special Representative Steve Whitkoff, who is negotiating on behalf of the US, and Jared Kushner, who is involved in diplomatic processes.
According to Donald Trump, the American negotiators have held a number of important and meaningful meetings in recent days.
- Currently, Iran is a very sensitive and complex point. At the same time, our representatives are in constant contact with the parties there. "The meetings are productive, the relations are maintained in a businesslike spirit, and most importantly, good negotiations are underway," the US leader said.
Trump also noted that the experience of recent years has shown that reaching deep and meaningful agreements with Iran is not easy. According to him, the existing political contradictions and instability in the region will further complicate the negotiation process.
However, according to the White House leader, it is important that communication between the parties is not interrupted and efforts to restore trust continue. The US administration also emphasized its intention to prioritize diplomatic solutions in matters related to Iran.
