Six Gulf states declare their right to respond to Iran

Bahrain, Qatar, Kuwait, Oman, the UAE, and Saudi Arabia have declared their right to retaliate against Iran's attacks in the Persian Gulf. The head of the Qatari Foreign Ministry, Majid al-Ansari, stated that compensation must be paid for Iran's "insulting attack."

According to available estimates, from February 28 to March 2, at least 165 missiles and 541 drones were launched into the UAE, 97 missiles and 283 drones into Kuwait, 72 missiles and 17 drones into Qatar, 45 missiles and 9 drones into Bahrain. At least two drones have been deployed to Oman and Saudi Arabia.

According to Al Jazeera, as of March 3, 8 people have died and 128 have been injured in the Persian Gulf countries. At the same time, the Gulf states have been trying to maintain diplomatic relations in recent years, avoiding open military clashes with Iran.

Experts are expressing different opinions on possible response scenarios: orientalist Ruslan Suleymanov says there might be an answer, but not with the US and Israel. Israeli military analyst David Sharp emphasized that it is dangerous to show weakness in the region.
