Donald Trump vows new strikes against Iran

US President Donald Trump announced on March 7 that new military strikes would be launched against Iran and its affiliated groups. On his Truth Social page, the president emphasized that due to Iran's actions, territories and groups of individuals that had not been targeted before could be destroyed. According to Trump, joint operations by America and Israel will continue until Iran surrenders or collapses completely.
This statement came after Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian apologized to Persian Gulf countries for missile and drone attacks. The Iranian leader had promised not to strike neighboring countries if his own country was not attacked. However, Trump interpreted this apology as Iran's defeat. In his view, Iran was forced to abandon its position precisely because of the brutal attacks by the US and Israel.
Trump accused Iran of destabilizing the situation in the Middle East, adding that the country has now lost its influence in the region. The president noted that Iran has lost its former status as a "militant" and has become a "failed" state. In the current situation, Washington and Tel Aviv are openly demonstrating their intention to further increase their military pressure.
