Abbas Araghchi firmly emphasized that no one can interfere in Iran’s internal affairs. According to him, neither the United States nor any other country can influence Iran’s internal political processes, including the process of choosing a new leader.
The Iranian foreign minister also made a number of important statements. According to him, the country will continue to defend itself for as long as necessary to ensure its security. At the same time, he stated that the demand for “unconditional surrender” put forward by Washington is completely rejected by Tehran.
According to Araghchi, Iran demands a complete end to the conflict with the United States. Otherwise, Tehran is ready to continue the struggle.
The minister also said that official Tehran is convinced that the attack on a girls’ school was carried out by the United States.
Araghchi also touched upon another issue and emphasized that Iran does not intend to attack neighboring countries in the Middle East. According to him, Tehran’s possible retaliatory strikes will be directed against U.S. forces and bases located in these countries.
Speaking about the military of his country, the Iranian foreign minister stated the following:
“We have very brave soldiers who are ready to fight against any enemy that invades our land, to destroy and eliminate them. This will be the case in the coming days, in the coming years, and always in Iran. We are a brave nation. We have a great civilization. We have been defending our land for thousands of years and will continue to do so whenever necessary.”
In one of his appearances on American television, Araghchi also openly stated that Iran is not afraid of ground or air battles with U.S. and Israeli troops.
Interestingly, many political analysts are paying attention to the personal charm and charisma of Iran’s foreign minister. In their opinion, each of his appearances on American television channels also has a certain impact on Donald Trump’s ratings.
