Mass protests against Middle East war in Spain

More than 150 cities across Spain witnessed widespread demonstrations this weekend as thousands of citizens took to the streets to protest the ongoing war in the Middle East. In Madrid, approximately five thousand people gathered near the Atocha station, chanting slogans such as "No to war" and "No to NATO." The nationwide movement was held under the banner of stopping the conflict and ensuring that the humanitarian crisis in Gaza remains in the public eye.
The organizers issued a manifesto strongly condemning the military actions in the region. The document stated that the ongoing bombardments pose a severe threat to global security and international peace. Protesters called upon democratic nations to denounce the aggression, uphold international law, and work toward a just and lasting peace that includes an immediate end to the violence in Gaza.
Beyond the capital, the wave of protests extended to major urban centers including "Barcelona," Seville, Zaragoza, Santander, and Cordoba. Participants emphasized that the current situation is unjustifiable and urged their government to take a more active role in advocating for a diplomatic resolution to the crisis.
