Netanyahu asked Zelenskyy for help against Iranian drones

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has appealed to Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy for assistance in combating the Iranian drone threat. This was reported by the Israeli news portal Ynet.

According to the publication's sources, the basis for Netanyahu's appeal was Ukraine's experience in successfully acquiring unmanned aerial vehicles during the conflict with Russia. Opportunities for cooperation between Tel Aviv and Kyiv in this area were also discussed.

Ukraine's ambassador to Israel, Evgeny Kornychuk, acknowledging Kyiv's experience with unmanned aerial vehicles, stated Ukraine's readiness for such cooperation. However, a direct conversation between the leaders of the two countries has not yet taken place.

Earlier, we reported that Iran declared Ukrainian territory a legitimate target for strikes due to aid provided to Israel. At the same time, it was reported that the Ukrainian leader had sent Ukrainian specialists to the Middle East to combat the drone threat.

The American leader, however, refuting this statement, emphasized that he does not need Kyiv's assistance at the moment. These events demonstrate the great importance of global security in relation to Iran's nuclear arsenal and military capabilities.
