Media reported another Iranian general has died

Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps said its spokesperson, General Ali Mohammad Naini, was killed on March 20 in airstrikes it blamed on the United States and Israel. The announcement was made by the IRGC press service, which described him as the corps’ deputy for public relations and its official representative.
In a statement, the IRGC said Naini had been active in the fields of culture and media and called his death a martyrdom. It added that he was killed in what it described as a terrorist attack carried out early in the morning on the last day of Ramadan, the holy month observed by Muslims.
Iranian and regional media also reported that Mehdi Qurayshi, identified as the commander of the IRGC’s aerospace forces, was killed in strikes on Isfahan allegedly carried out by the US and Israel. According to those reports, he died after an attack on the “Ji” industrial area in Isfahan.
There has been no immediate independent confirmation of the full circumstances of the reported deaths. The claims come amid rising regional tensions and continued exchanges of accusations over military actions and targeted strikes.
