According to reports, the head of state visited the training base of the capital defense corps of the Korean People’s Army and personally observed tactical exercises of infantry and tank units aimed at a joint offensive. In the published images, he is seen standing on a modern tank, with his daughter also present beside him.
Special mission units, armored forces, and tank companies actively participated in the exercises. This indicates that the drills were conducted at a high level and in a comprehensive format.
In his speech, Kim Jong Un emphasized that the new-generation tank is the result of many years of scientific and technical development. According to him, the vehicle is equipped with modern fire control systems as well as electronic warfare capabilities. This significantly increases its effectiveness on the battlefield.
He also noted that this tank strengthens the army’s combat capability, especially providing a major advantage in night operations. According to the leader, the previous limitations of armored forces in nighttime combat have now been almost completely eliminated.
According to observers, such public appearances serve not only as a demonstration of military power but also as an internal political signal. In particular, the regular presence of Kim Ju E at official events further strengthens assumptions that she is being prepared as a potential successor.
