Tension in the Middle East: strikes, statements, and conflict are escalating

The military-political situation in the Middle East is becoming increasingly tense. The Israeli government has officially confirmed that it continues uninterrupted strikes against targets in Iran and Lebanon. In his address, Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu emphasized that these actions are being taken to achieve strategic goals.
According to him, the Israeli side is consistently carrying out strikes aimed at weakening Iran's missile program and nuclear capabilities. At the same time, it was reported that serious strikes are being carried out against the Hezbollah group operating in Lebanon. Netanyahu even specifically noted that two Iranian nuclear specialists were recently eliminated, indicating that this process is not yet complete.
Against this backdrop, the dialogue between the leaders of the US and Israel is also at the center of attention. In a telephone conversation with Donald Trump, Netanyahu said that the results achieved by the armies of both countries were highly appreciated. He emphasized that these achievements could serve as a basis for future agreements that protect the interests of both sides.
However, the statements made by Washington also appear contradictory. Donald Trump had previously stated that "effective negotiations" were underway with Iran and even instructed them to temporarily postpone strikes on their energy infrastructure. This led some analysts to believe that there is a possibility of resolving the problem through diplomatic means.
However, Iranian officials strongly deny these claims. They emphasized that there were no negotiations with the US, and there are no negotiations now. This once again shows how deep the mistrust between the parties is.
Iran's retaliatory strikes are also contributing to the further escalation of the situation. According to the latest information, missile strikes have been carried out on the northern regions of Israel. The Israeli military, however, stated that they were trying to neutralize the threats through air defense systems.
At the same time, the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps reported strikes on the cities of Dimona and Eilat, as well as US military facilities in the region. Although no specific information about the victims has been released yet, it is clear that these attacks will further complicate the situation.
Experts believe that such drastic actions could pose a serious threat to long-term stability. The firm position of both sides and the atmosphere of mutual distrust make it much more difficult to resolve the problem peacefully in the near future.
In short, the current situation is not a "pause" - it is a new stage of the big game. And every wrong step in this game can drag the entire region into an even deeper crisis.
