Iran is demanding large compensation from five Arab countries

The Iranian government issued another important statement amidst the tense situation in the region. Tehran officials have appealed to the United Nations, stating that they are demanding compensation from five Arab countries for their possible involvement in the US and Israeli military operations.

This appeal was sent by the Permanent Representative of Iran to the UN, Amir Said Irvani, to the UN Secretary-General and Chairman of the Security Council. The document states that Bahrain, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, the United Arab Emirates, and Jordan must be held accountable.

Tehran claims that these countries indirectly supported military actions against Iran by allowing the use of their territories. In some cases, they are said to have participated in illegal armed attacks, including strikes on civilian objects. Therefore, Iran considers these actions as "aggression" from the point of view of international law and demands full compensation for the material and moral damage caused.

However, the aforementioned Gulf states and Jordan strongly deny these allegations. In their statements, they emphasized that they were not involved in the US and Israeli operations against Iran, stating that these claims are groundless.

According to experts, this situation could further intensify political tensions in the region and negatively impact international relations.
