Iran Unveils New 'Arash 3' Drone with 2,000 km Range

In Iran's capital Tehran, a new kamikaze drone — "Arash 3" — was officially unveiled. It is reported that the flight range of this drone reaches 2,000 kilometres. This demonstrates its theoretical capability to reach distant regions. The drone was presented to the public at a rally held under the slogan "Loyalty to Iran".

Its name is connected to the legendary archer Arash from Persian mythology. According to technical specifications, the drone's speed is approximately 600 kilometres per hour. In addition, it is equipped with a warhead weighing approximately 150 kilograms. It is noted that the drone navigates via satellite navigation and an internal control system. This allows it to reach its target even in the absence of a GPS signal. It is emphasised that the demonstration took place during a period of escalating geopolitical tensions in the region.
