Xi Jinping Calls for Urgent End to Middle East War

Chinese President Xi Jinping stated during negotiations with Russian President Vladimir Putin in Beijing that it is necessary to end the war in the Middle East as soon as possible.
Xi Jinping emphasized that ending military operations would reduce threats to global energy supply and international trade stability. He noted that negotiations play a crucial role in achieving peace.
Previously, the Chinese leader had also hosted US President Donald Trump in Beijing. Washington has launched military actions against Iran, demanding that Tehran abandon its nuclear program.
Attempts to persuade Iran to accept US conditions have reportedly yielded no results so far. The blockade in the Strait of Hormuz has seriously impacted oil and liquefied gas exports, increasing the risk of a global energy crisis.
Against this backdrop, it is noted that some US sanctions on Russian oil and gas have been eased. Increasing the volume of Russian energy resource supplies to China is expected to be one of the main topics during Putin's visit to Beijing.
